Meet Kaylen...
You may have found yourself here because something in your life or relationships doesn’t feel the way you hoped it would. Maybe conversations turn into arguments, distance has quietly grown, or anxiety and stress feel heavier than they used to. You might be doing your best to hold everything together while wondering why it still feels so hard.
Hi! My name is Kaylen and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, more connected relationships. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in repeating patterns, overwhelmed by life transitions, or unsure how to communicate their needs in ways that truly feel heard and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin making sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
I believe that our relationships shape how we experience the world and how we see ourselves. When relationships feel strained, distant, or filled with conflict, it can impact every part of life — from emotional wellbeing to daily functioning. Together, we will explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, uncover the emotions and experiences driving those patterns, and develop new ways of relating that foster connection, clarity, and resilience.
My approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based models including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and systems-based perspective. This means we will work both emotionally and practically: helping you better understand your feelings, shift unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen communication skills, and build tools you can use outside of sessions. Every client and relationship is unique, so I tailor therapy to meet your specific goals, values, and experiences.
I work with individuals seeking support for anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions; couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, or reconnect emotionally; and families navigating conflict, parenting challenges, or changing family dynamics. Whether you are coming to therapy during a difficult season or simply want to deepen your self-understanding and relationships, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of your story.
I view therapy as a space for growth, healing, and meaningful change. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and it takes courage to begin this process. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healthier relationships, greater self-awareness, and more fulfilling lives.
