I work with some of the most brilliant, exquisite, and tortured minds. It is an honor to hold their stories in time and space. Our work together can lead to a deeper exploration of the psyche, searching for shimmering nuances of existential congruence that lead to genuine ways of being.

Most of the work I get to do involves the intersection of neurodivergent brain styles + trauma + sexuality; the deconstruction of shame (i.e., religious, historical messaging, societal, sexual, bullying, abuse/neglect, etc.); â€‹â€‹sexual anxiety, and challenges related to erotic marginalization; childhood trauma, Jungian trauma-focused healing from attachment injuries, and forensic traumatology.

First and foremost, I lead with an ethical, trauma-focused disposition in all that I do, as a therapist, supervisor, professor, and researcher. As a curious human being who enjoys monotropic attention tunnels that lead to exploring the human mind, I use an evidence-based integrative approach (not to be conflated with haphazard eclecticism). My philosophical foundation is rooted in social constructivist meaning-making with a deep humanistic presence, while my clinical lens is systemic. I often use postmodern interventions, primarily from the narrative approach, such as deconstruction, re-storying, and acknowledging the power and purpose of verbal and non-verbal communication. I strive to better understand the constructs that both serve (and no longer serve) clients in their ways of being.
