Works with children, adolescents, and adults. Juan also works with a local Child Advocacy Center and understands family/systemic concerns. Juan's CV.
I believe counseling is most effective when I meet clients where they are. Each person’s story is unique, so I adapt my approach to your needs, challenges, and goals. My approach is humanistic, emphasizing an authentic, trusting relationship and a supportive space to explore your past, understand your present, and imagine your future without judgment.
I view counseling through individual, cultural, and systemic lenses, recognizing how history, identity, and social systems shape our experiences. My work is trauma-informed, centering safety, stability, and empowerment throughout the process. Healing happens best when clients feel seen, understood, and respected, so I listen deeply, collaborate closely, and build on your strengths. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop new skills, and create meaningful changes that enhance your well-being and quality of life
