Motivation to seek support is challenging, especially when anxiety or depression whisper lies of "it will feel like this forever, so why try?"

We make our process simple and help carry the weight for the trails ahead.

YOU are not a burden.

You are carrying one.

HOLISTIC CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS

We provide support, coping tools, and "brain hacks" (i.e., befriending your amygdala - the doppler radar of threats) for depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, panic, postpartum concerns for caregivers, life transitions, and grief... just to name a few.

At times, the brain perceives and experiences things that can feel like an overwhelming burden that's hard to lift. You are not a burden. You are carrying one!

DEPRESSION, for example, can sit heavily on the chest, or drop deep into the belly, or even manifest as chronic pain.
Sometimes our perceptions are impacted by systemic, societal pressures around us, leading to deep rooted SHAME.

ANXIETY shows up when we experience intense feelings of uncertainty and lack of control over our lives. Anxiety likes to 'future trip', focusing on the 'what-ifs'  vs. the 'what is' - through worry and perseveration. Clients often use their traumatic pasts to predict the future - basing decisions on what was, not what is.

We know that healing is not a linear journey. Our therapists collaborate with clients to create a roadmap to work toward feeling and healing. If you want deeper trauma-focused work, check out this page.

For our Autistic clients, we work to better understand the experiences of Autistic
BURNOUT often viewed as depression and anxiety (Mantzalas et al., 2024). Check out this page for more.

AN AFFIRMING PROCESS FOR COMPLEX CHALLENGES

  1. We screen for conditions, experiences, neurodivergence, and trauma, to rule in / rule out other factors.

  2. We holistically assess the function/impact of the presenting concerns and symptoms (exogenous or endogenous).

  3. We have an open dialogue with you about your needs and strive to understand your lived experience through interventions (i.e., externalization).

  4. We provide you with coping skills that are aligned with the way you learn and process information.

  5. We will support you and offer these efforts during your journey:

    • We will never dismiss your pain.

    • We will honor what you say, feel, and experience.

    • We will listen with intent and lead with an ethical and humanistic disposition.
