Meet Bria...

Are you feeling tired of getting in your own way, feeling stuck, disconnected, and alone, and looking to break the patterns that hold you back from living a life that you feel happy and at home in? Are you curious to unearth the unconscious patterns and shadow elements in your life that are preventing you from thriving? If any of the above resonates and you’re looking for a therapist who can tell it like it is with kindness, humor, and compassion, let’s connect. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you create a life you love and cherish.

My goal is to provide a brave, welcoming and judgment-free space to explore your unique challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and all relational structures, including non-monogamous, polyamorous, and LGBTQIA+ dynamics. I’m deeply passionate about my areas of specialization–sex therapy and guiding clients through psychedelic preparation and/or integration work. Through attachment work, Internal Family Systems, EMDR offshoot Brainspotting, and DBT, I support clients in building better relationships with themselves and others. I can guide you as you improve your communication skills, navigate your desire differences, process trauma, and shift insecure attachment patterns into more secure, grounded, and satisfying ways of relating.

I’m big on offering you practical tools you can use in your everyday life as you grow, heal, and become more authentically you. As a yoga and meditation instructor with 16+ years of teaching experience, I can fluidly weave mindfulness and embodied awareness into your sessions. As the proud daughter of an immigrant and a purity culture dropout, I hold an understanding, compassionate container for those with similar experiences. I earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University.

I am engaging in ongoing sex therapy training. My psychedelic studies include coursework through Psychedelics Today and attending the Psychedelic Science conference in Denver in 2023. I have presented on a favorite topic–the interweaving of psychedelics and sexual healing–at the 2024 Federation of Sexology conference in Italy, at the Sex on the Western Front conference in Denver in 2024, and through sex education programming at the Sexploratorium in Denver. Additionally, I have presented on developing more secure ways of relating at the Colorado Counseling Association conference. Fun fact: my first master’s degree is in journalism from Columbia University, which reflects an ongoing fascination with both the stories we are a part of and the stories we embody in our lives
